What God Thinks When You Are Not Feeling Good Enough
Do you ever wonder what God thinks when you're not feeling good enough? You know what I mean. You just yelled at your kids, your boss is on your case for something, and dang, but you've done "that thing" again, which you swore you'd never repeat. You feel like the scumbag of your world and wonder if God will ever want to talk to you. He will. He's already thinking more thoughts about you than there are grains of beach sand. And his thoughts aren't in the scumbag category (Psalm 139:17-18).
Here's what God thinks when you're not feeling good enough
Why are you feeling that you are not good enough? I don't hold your sins against you. I accept you. I don't condemn you. (2 Cor. 5:18-19; Rom. 8:1).You are my workmanship, and I'm not done with my work yet. I'm making you into the image of my son, Jesus (Eph. 2:10: Rom. 8:28).I've called you, and I've already made you "good enough." Even when you make mistakes, I'm working something good in you through the experience. In fact, you are reflecting my glory right now, even though you don't feel it (Romans 8:28-30; 2 Cor. 3:18).Sure, you blew it, but I did not slip-up when I created you. All your days have been written in my Book. This one did not catch me by surprise (Psalm 139:15-16).I have a specially designed destiny for you that will expand my kingdom on earth, bring you hope, and a prosperous future (Jer. 1:7,10; 29:11).Now get back to loving and living life. I'm so enjoying the experience of living it with you (Rom. 8:38-39).
