My little girl feet walked proudly in their new Mary Janes through the wildflowers and green grass all the way to the top of the hill for Easter Sunrise Service.
Everything felt fresh and I wondered if Heaven looked as pretty as the fluffy clouds nestled above us.
I don’t remember what the pastor said, but my spirit knew that this was a joyful, holy day.
Such Easter memories mingle with those of smells and laughter from family bar-b-ques and Easter egg hunts at Grandma’s.
These gatherings helped form my spiritual journey.

One of my favorite Easters from years ago was when you and Tom invited us to the ranch for Easter Sunday. My parents were out of town with my ill grandfather. You were so hospitable and made us feel at home. We loved the day full of so much fun. Thank you for that day!!!!
