Sometimes you just need to sit and nurture your spirit at Christmas. I know I do. Otherwise, my heart gets hardened with all of the commercialism that goes on during the biggest money-making month of the year.
Among such activities as prayer, hugging grandchildren and other people, and reading my Bible, I find that watching encouraging video clips helps keep me both sane and nurtured. Here are my favorite this Christmas season from across the web:
The kids from St. Paul’s Church in Auckland always produce such an amazing Christmas video. There’s no way you can watch this and not smile.
The Beatbox Nativity. I love the Scripture centered message.
After a visit with Santa before boarding their flight, these passengers had more than luggage waiting for them at their destination! Enjoy the WestJet Christmas Miracle.
Little Drummer Boy – Pentatonix. This one will keep you singing all day. And sissing. And making other lip-smacking, tongue clicking sounds.
The Digital Story of the Nativity as told through Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google, Wikipedia, Google Maps, Amazon, and more.
By the way, if you received this post via email and cannot view the video clips, please visit this post on my blog to nurture your spirit.
That was fun, wasn’t it? I hope you take some time to nurture your spirit every day this Christmas season. Susan
“Jesus likes it when we share.” -Adelaide, age 3: Pass this along to everybody and their brother. OK, maybe not everybody’s brother, but you know . . . all of your friends would be nice.
